Rainman Solar Lighting – Built for Australian Conditions
Australian solar lighting has to do more than simply turn on after sunset. It needs to keep performing through long winter nights, cloudy weather and changing conditions — and it needs to keep doing so year after year. The Rainman Solar Series was developed around one simple idea: dependable solar lighting you can rely on when you need it.
From homes and rural properties to farms, workshops, warehouses, driveways, private roads and commercial areas, Rainman provides powerful off-grid lighting without trenching, mains wiring or ongoing electricity costs.
Choose from two professional solar lighting ranges: K Series Solar Flood Lights for flexible, wide-area lighting with a separate solar panel, and G Series Solar Street Lights for powerful directional lighting for roads, driveways, entrances and open areas.
Three Rainman Promises
1. One Day Sun, Three Nights Shine – Up to 36 Hours Runtime
One of the biggest concerns when buying a solar light is simple: will it still work when the weather isn't perfect? A solar light may perform well after a full summer day of sunshine, but Australian conditions aren't always like that. Winter brings shorter daylight hours and longer nights, while cloudy and rainy periods can reduce the amount of solar energy available for charging.
Rainman is designed with these conditions in mind. With high-capacity CATL LiFePO₄ batteries, appropriately sized solar panels and advanced charging technology, Rainman K and G Series lights can provide up to 36 hours of runtime, depending on operating mode and conditions. That's the thinking behind our promise: One day sun, three night shine.
Rainman's 4th-generation GaN fast-charging technology also helps make better use of available solar energy during less-than-ideal charging conditions. The result is more stored energy when the sun is available and more dependable solar lighting when you need it.
2. 5-Year Product Warranty – Quality You Can Rely On
A solar light shouldn't become another product you replace every year or two. For many Australian buyers, particularly those installing lights on farms, sheds, high walls, poles, driveways or commercial properties, replacing a failed light isn't just inconvenient. It can also mean additional labour, equipment and installation costs.
That's why Rainman is designed for long-term reliability rather than simply chasing the lowest purchase price. Rainman uses CATL LiFePO₄ battery cells, high-efficiency LEDs and robust aluminium housings, together with weather-resistant construction designed for demanding outdoor applications.
And we stand behind that quality. Every Rainman K Series and G Series solar light comes with a 5-year product warranty. It is our commitment that when you invest in a Rainman solar lighting system, you are investing in a product designed to keep working for years to come.
3. Two Smart Lighting Modes – Use the Light Your Way
Different properties need different types of lighting. Some customers want their lights operating throughout the night. Others only need maximum brightness when somebody approaches. Rainman gives you both options.
Dusk-to-Dawn Mode automatically turns the light on when darkness arrives and turns it off again after sunrise. It is ideal for entrances, driveways, roads, yards and areas where dependable overnight illumination is required.
Motion Sensor Mode provides energy-efficient lighting that responds to activity. The light can remain at a lower brightness level and increase to full brightness when movement is detected, then automatically dim again after the area is clear.
Together with timer and remote-control functions on applicable models, you can adjust your Rainman lighting to suit your property rather than adapting your property to the light.
Choose Your Rainman Series
Rainman is available in two main product families. Both share the same focus on long runtime, dependable performance and commercial-grade quality, but they are designed for different solar lighting applications.
K Series – Solar Flood Lights
The Rainman K Series is designed for customers who need powerful, wide-area illumination with flexible installation. The floodlight and solar panel are separate, allowing the light to be positioned where illumination is needed while the solar panel can be installed where it receives better sunlight.
This makes the K Series particularly suitable for Australian homes, rural properties, farm sheds, workshops, warehouses, car parks, storage areas and commercial buildings.
Find Your K Series Model:
- K30 – 2,700 Lumens: A versatile choice for homes, rural properties, sheds, entrances and smaller work areas, with coverage up to approximately 200m².
- K60 – 5,500 Lumens: Designed for larger yards, farm workshops, warehouse entrances and medium commercial areas, with coverage up to approximately 300m².
- K90 – 6,500 Lumens: A higher-output option for large workshops, warehouse yards, long driveways and larger commercial areas, with coverage up to approximately 400m².
- K120 – 8,000 Lumens: The largest K Series model for large car parks, storage yards, commercial properties and other applications requiring broad-area lighting, with coverage up to approximately 500m².
G Series – Solar Street Lights
The Rainman G Series is designed for directional outdoor lighting where a traditional street-light style installation is more appropriate. Mounted on a pole or suitable structure, the G Series directs useful light downward and across the required area, making it particularly suitable for driveways, property entrances, rural roads, private roads, farm access areas, yards and commercial properties.
Find Your G Series Model:
- G20 – 2,000 Lumens: Ideal for residential and rural applications such as entrances, pathways, smaller driveways and yards, with approximately 100–200m² lighting coverage.
- G30S – 3,100 Lumens: A versatile option for larger front and backyards, rural house blocks, driveways, property entrances, farm sheds and private access areas, covering up to approximately 200m².
- G60 – 4,100 Lumens: Built for farms, rural properties and commercial applications such as farm roads, large driveways, workshop surrounds and warehouse access areas, with coverage up to approximately 300m².
- G90 – 7,500 Lumens: Designed for larger applications including rural roads, long driveways, warehouse yards and other open areas requiring powerful directional lighting, with coverage up to approximately 400m².
Why Rainman Is Different
Solar lights are often advertised using extremely large wattage numbers. But a large number printed on a box doesn't necessarily tell you how much useful light will reach the ground. At Rainman, we prefer practical information.
That's why our product selection focuses on actual lumen output, approximate lighting coverage and recommended installation height — information that helps you choose a light based on the area you actually need to illuminate.
Behind that performance are the technologies that support the three main Rainman promises:
- CATL LiFePO₄ batteries provide dependable energy storage and long service life.
- High-efficiency Dual 5054 LEDs produce strong useful light while making efficient use of stored battery energy.
- Die-cast aluminium construction provides strength, weather resistance and effective heat management for demanding outdoor conditions.
- 4th-generation GaN fast-charging technology helps the system make better use of available solar energy, including during less favourable charging conditions.
Together, these technologies are designed to deliver what matters most: longer runtime, dependable performance and a solar light you can rely on for years.

Whether you need to illuminate a suburban backyard, rural driveway, farm shed, workshop, warehouse entrance, private road or commercial car park, there is a Rainman model designed for the job.
Start by deciding which lighting style suits your application:
- Choose the K Series Solar Flood Lights when you want flexible positioning and broad-area illumination.
